Last Friday Security Ledger and our friends at Invincea held the latest in our series of Conversations with a CISO. Our guest, Alan Daines, is the Executive Director and Chief Information Security Officer of Dell Cybersecurity. As such, Alan and his team are responsible for managing the security of Dell’s corporate IT environment, as well as that of Dell.com, one of the world’s largest e-commerce web sites.
Alan and I were joined by Anup Ghosh, the CEO of Invincea. This was a great conversation where we talked about a wide range of topics, ranging from Dell’s approach to risk management to the value of threat intelligence and advanced threat protection technologies, to what kinds of IT security talent Dell is looking to hire.
