In addition to being a reseller and distributor of Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System technology, the two companies will work together to develop cybersecurity solutions for Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, including connected devices, according to a news release.

Darktrace is a “next generation” threat detection platform that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify new, emerging threats. The company’s technology can identify insider attacks, ransomware, machine-based attacks and unknown threat scenarios, according to the company.

The collaboration comes after Samsung SDS’s investment in the security firm. As well as reselling and distributing Darktrace’s technology, Samsung SDS will work with Darktrace to develop IT security for the Internet of Things, such as connected devices.
